In the morning they were still naked and I was soaking again, it is a very good way to relax, especially for bikers. 1 pm rode my bike to Goodyear. Today, partly rainy and very windy. Afternoon I got to Tonopah fire station asking water, at the station they has a lot of patches, I showed my patches to firefighters which were given to me by JJ in Blythe, and then they gave me one from Arizona! Thanks so much! From the junction of Baseline Rd I took Baseline, it was so windy. Almost night I got flat again, I can not patch my bike, because totally dark, I push it to a warehouse where has light. I fixed my tire it took about 1 hour! At 9:30 pm I finally got the host Rood’s home. Rood gave me a warm hug! He is an architect and has a lot of Ginsburg books which Ginsburg autographed!!!

In the morning cooked some food, started pretty early, because last night I did not sleep. I-10 has 3 rest area, the first day when I left from Blythe I got one, it was noon when I got to the other rest stop, both of them closed. I think it might be shot on money of Arizona government. It is very good for bikers, because all the cars can not come in, and all the area is yours! But I can not stay here long time, because today I wanna get in Tonopah where is the hot springs. The whole day was so boring, my I pod which is Natasha gave me is no power, and when the trucks passed, it was so noisy and brought a strong wind on me, I need hold bike tight. Almost dark got the third rest area, it is open, met a guy Louie, he said would like drove me to Grand Canyon! Because he believe karma. When I got in Tonopah the hot springs, the host were nudist! An old couple I think they are about 60 years old. It is really funny feeling for me, because in China we are not naked around other people. They talked with me naked, they walked naked, every time they were naked. Maybe this is America’s culture – naked all day. Bill told me how to soak, he said the most important thing is naked!

When I left George gave me 3 bottles of water, thanks! I-10 for bikers is so dangerous, though it shoulder is wide. Passed by Quaitzite, there is a huge RV gathering. George told me there might be 4000-5000 RVs here! Got some supplies in Quaitzite, from Quaitzite the next city might be Tonopah, about 70 miles away. I thought today I could ride 60-70 km, but when I had a rest somewhere, my rear tire got flat again, so tonight just camped close I-10, the whole night I can’t sleep at all, every 10 seconds a truck pass! I-10 is the major interstate from LA to Phoenix it goes all the way to the east coast, Jacksonville,FL (Flordia).

I thought I stay in Blythe only one night, but I stayed here totally 5 days! Melissa said “I could come back anytime”. From Blythe I continued to follow the I-10, I stayed in California for almost 3 months! I think it will be the longest state I will stay in America, Otherwise I could not finish my trip crossing America. See you next time California! When I stand on the border of California and Arizona, I face a dilemma: the time changes, Arizona later than California by 1 hour! Tonight camped at a RV ground at Exit 5, knew George’s family.

Morning went to JJ’s home to cut a big tree and JJ gave me two license plates: one is old California, one is old Arizona and two patches from a California fire man! These are so cool! Thanks! At night I tried to cook Coca chicken wings and tomatoes fried eggs again, they love it! Haha. The old man who lost right arm will take part in the America’s Got Talent, I drew two cat eyes on his small can what he use to hold the pick when he plays the guitar! Best wishes to him!
